Be Still My Heart
“Is there anything sweeter than little girl socks?”
Is there anything cuter than little girl socks with little girl feet in them? We got to see our little sugar bean yesterday at her first visit with the Easter Bunny. There was a mommy and daddy, a granny, three great grandmas and a great grandpa in attendance for such a monumental event. Then we all went out for dinner. It was a beautiful day!
With the five year anniversary of Mr. Virgo’s death past me, I’m feeling much better…hopeful, centered, happy, peaceful. I’m was talking with a couple of other widows the other day about being in “moving forward” mode. I write so much about grief because I took this on as my ministry. And, even though I WRITE it, I hope you understand that I don’t feel sad every single day anymore. I write with empathy for those in the throes of grief. For those who are new on the journey. For those who still struggle no matter how much time has passed. I am healthier this way. I seem to have found my balance now, even though the scales still get tipped back toward sadness from time to time. This is the nature of the beast.
I hope you have a beautiful day. Get out there and enjoy the first weekend of Spring!!! ❤️
