What a Gorgeous Day!!!

I don’t know about you, but I have a really hard time sleeping the night before I have to get up and go someplace. I set my alarm, then I lay there and tell myself I’d better hurry up and get to sleep because if I don’t get to sleep pretty soon, I’m going to be overly tired then I might sleep through the alarm and then I keep looking at the clock…one hour…two hours…if I get to sleep right now, I’ll still get four hours and that’s doable…another hour…God, I’m giving this to you…(not really…I can’t stop looking at the clock)…so, if I go to sleep right this minute, I’ll get two whole hours of sleep…that’s better than nothing, I can do this…ALARM!!!! Are you KIDDING me??? I just went to sleep!!!!!
Anybody? It can’t just be me.
Anyway, I got up and showered and out the door in record time and arrived at the doctor’s office with enough time to check my emails before I went in. I really liked the doctor. I was basically just getting established in case my parathyroid issues rise up again. The good news is, I no longer have Primary Hyperparathyroidism! The surgery worked. I do however have to reduce my phosphorus intake. Mine’s a little elevated and that can make some of the other numbers go wacky. Overall, pretty good news!
The weather was stellar yesterday. It was 75° with big puffy white clouds in a gorgeous blue sky. I drove around with the sunroof and the windows open and breathed in all that fresh air. I went to my new hairdresser and she could not believe how fast my hair has grown. I’ve been using a shampoo I bought in the shop and it’s growing out really healthy. A little yellowed at the ends so I’m going to try a purple shampoo once a week to see if it corrects.

One of the highlights of my day was having lunch at Panera. A huge salad (this was before I found out that leafy greens are high in phosphorus!) and a large Diet Coke (another no-no!) So, what can you do? You do the best you can, right?

I had a Zoom meeting then went on the hunt for something Mr. FixIt needs for his woodworking project. Of course, they are phasing out exactly what he wanted so we have to travel about 37 miles each way to find it. I understand…when I want a specific product, I want what I want. I can’t begrudge him the same thing.
As I drove home from town yesterday, there were flowering trees actually blooming! This is WAY too early for that. The climate is changing faster and faster and it’s troublesome. The fierce snowstorms this week are crazy. I mean…a blizzard just outside of Los Angeles? Nuts!

The clouds looked downright angelic last night. It was still in the 70’s!
I hope you all are faring well out there. Please be safe and take good care of each other! Our temps take a nosedive today with a high of 47° and a low of 29°. Big difference from yesterday.
