When I travel anymore, I don’t usually make reservations. I prefer to listen and go where I’m told. Yesterday was a long day of driving, battling gusty winds through the breadbasket of America. When the light began to change in the west, I started listening to my heart. I was watching for signs for RV parks, but we were way out in open, rolling farmland with few commercial venues. My eye kept being drawn off to the right when I suddenly heard that faint whisper…”Go there!”
A mile from the highway was a small sign that read Lake Storey Campground. We pulled in, got an electric only site for $14, hooked up, and had leftovers from lunch. The sky was turning pink when I told my travel buddy I thought there was a lake nearby. We walked down a gravel path through a canopy of trees when suddenly there was a clearing and…BAM! God started showing off! We caught the most gorgeous sunset ever…all because I listened.
Where does that voice take you?

“At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.”
