I want to thank you all for your prayers for Mr. FixIt. His procedure went well and his pain has decreased tremendously. As a matter of fact, we drove to town last evening and listened to live music in the park and sat in our new camping chairs. He remarked on the way home that he feels so good…it’s incredible. The new chairs are great, by the way. Not terribly light weight, but very comfy and I love rocking in them.
We stopped for salads on the way to the park and had dinner al fresco. It was fun to see a few people there that we know but honestly, I was a little surprised I didn’t see more. I was charmed by those who did attend. There were tons of folks in walkers or with canes and I thought, “You go, girl! Way to get out there and rock!” It was great!
The newlyweds are on their honeymoon and they’ve been sharing photos in a group chat of the sunsets and the great food they’ve been eating. We were sitting at the park and our son shared a photo of his plate of food. It was so funny so we all started sharing pictures of what we were eating and what we were looking at. It was great fun but I hope it doesn’t discourage the kids from sharing. They are having the time of their lives!
I need to get the camper straightened up and restocked because I leave Sunday to camp for four days with my camping friends. I have to gather my knitting to work on. We take turns cooking for our shared meals so I need to shop a little bit. I’ll have to stop in Williamstown to dump the waste tanks on the way to the campground.
It will be no time and we’ll need to pack for the Colorado trip. These month long trips are epic!
