I told you my WV family has a just-for-fun competition to guess who will win each college Bowl game. In case there is a tie, you have to choose who will play in and win the Championship Game and what the total score will be. We all share playful banter in a family chat room during the season and celebrate each other as we share our wins and losses. Well, guess what….much to my amazement…I WON! This year, the coveted Football Head trophy will live at our house till next year’s bowl games. It was SO much fun playing with this crazy family I stumbled into. I love these people!

We had knitting group yesterday morning and we had the usual attendees. It’s always fun. I finally found a small table I can use for the knitting machines. It’s the perfect size and it was only $25. I still haven’t received the 22-needle machine I ordered in early December. If it doesn’t arrive tomorrow, I can request a refund on Wednesday. I’m really disappointed. One of the gals in our knitting group ordered hers the week after I did and received it last week. I know…first world problems. But when you order something and you pay your hard-earned money, you expect to get what you ordered in a timely fashion. Maybe it was on one of those cargo ships that have been attacked in the Suez Canal? Who knows?

We’ve lost three classmates in the last couple of weeks. I have a few people who need big prayers today. God knows who they are and what they need, but I would truly appreciate it if you would keep them in your prayers. They mean so much to me.

I didn’t get a lot of needlework done yesterday. I worked on two projects…a Tote of Many Colors and a net produce bag. I thought I’d clean my knitting machine last evening but it didn’t work well afterwards. I think I was too tired and got frustrated so I gave it up for the evening and came upstairs to watch the Michigan-Washington game. I’m hoping I don’t need to go anywhere the rest of the week and I can get some things done around here.
