It was a gorgeous day…55° and bright sunshine. We got up and around, fixed our morning beverages, and sat on FaceTime with our besties…Ben and Sue…out in Colorado. It was almost as good as sitting at their kitchen table. We really miss them. 

Mr. FixIt had an appointment in town in the afternoon so I had a few hours in the Big Red Chair. I finished the trim on the baby blanket and put a doll together and started another one. When Mr. FixIt came home, I fixed him a beautiful dinner. Lamb Chops with a Bourbon Maple and Black Balsamic Glaze, Steamed Broccoli, and Roasted Baby Gold Potatoes. Oh, my word….I know we aren’t supposed to brag, but my lamb chops are as good as any you could get in a 5-Star Restaurant. 

I learned from the best. Mr. Virgo was quite the foodie and he taught me how to cook many of my favorite dishes…one of which is lamb chops. Mr. FixIt had a wonderful birthday, and I’m taking the evening off to binge watch “Bull.” And today, I’m heading out to The Farm for a couple of nights.
