Hi. My name is Ginny and I’m a procrastinator. Ok, the first step is to admit you have a problem. I am powerless over time. No matter how hard I try, I cannot manipulate it. It will not bend at my every whim. I can’t make more of it. I spend it like it grows on trees. Time waits for no (wo)man. I know what needs to be done. I spend hours on Pinterest organizing my life. The irony is not lost on me. So, when will I actually DO it?

I lament over cellulitic thighs, but do I watch my diet? Exercise? No. I whine that my money slips through my hands, but do I write up a budget and stick to it? Not very well. I crawl over boxes of junk in my studio and garage, but do I get rid of the load I carry? Hardly.

So…what’s my problem? I mean, I don’t consider myself lazy. I am busy all the time. I just don’t like the execution phase of activities that are boring and repetitious. My high school chum just announced she had finished organizing all of her (and her mother’s) photographs in chronological order and put them into albums. Oh, dear golly…just shoot me now! I’d rather have a root canal. Hmmmm, not really. I’d rather be camping! See? There’s my problem. I’m addicted to fun!
