A Late, Late Post

I’m usually finished with my post by 10:30PM at the latest. Last night I didn’t even start till quarter to twelve! There isn’t an ounce of creativity left in me, I’m afraid. Mr. FixIt was gone all afternoon so I tore through the house like a mad woman. And STILL didn’t get that living room done. I made progress. But I kept getting distracted by sparkly things and just couldn’t help myself.

I made supper with that Cabbage Roll Casserole I shared with y’all a while back. It’s so quick and easy and really yummy. I worked all evening on a t-shirt design that came to me while I was cleaning. I kept thinking of the words of Christmas and started visualizing them in my head. Then I arranged them and voila! I came up with the CUTEST Christmas shirt and I’m sharing it before I head to bed.

I also wanted to share something I found the other day at the Kroger Store. I think I told you about it the other day, but if you haven’t ever seen it, you should try to find it. Pear’s Soap. It’s actually made in India and I used to buy it when I lived in England. That and Yardley and Crabtree & Evelyn. Pear’s soap is a translucent amber color and I love the smell it has some sort of fragrant herbs in it. If you ever find it, you should give it a try. It’s very gentle on the skin.

I’ve also started using a new lotion to try to stay ahead of my inevitable “winter skin.” It isn’t greasy and I love how it makes my skin feel. I put it on at night so it has a chance to soak in while I sleep. My dermatologist recommended it so it’s got to be good, right?

So, that’s all I’ve got today. I tried my hand at recording a cooking video but I’m going to have to do some serious editing! lol Do you all find you don’t like your voice on tape? I never have, even though others say nice things about it. So, maybe I’ll get brave one of these days and do one. I promise I’ll get an earlier start tomorrow.
