A long time ago, I bought a black and white cowgirl dress and matching boots. It was the coolest outfit, but I let my family embarrass me out of wearing them. I don’t know what ever happened to them but I wish I still had them. I always have my eyes peeled for a vintage pair and the louder, the better if I’m going to wear them for Sister events.

If you have a well-fitting pair of cowboy boots, there’s just about nothing more comfortable to wear. I have a pair I’ve had for almost 30 years and you would hardly know it by looking at them. They are molded to my feet like they were sculpted to fit every curve. I love those boots. I may downsize…I may get rid of 95% of my belongings but by golly! I’ll be buried with those boots on! Or maybe the red ones. Hmmmmmm….
