Mr. Virgo was a HUGE Eagles fan. He was born and raised in South Philly so he and his dad bled Green every Sunday. Philadelphia did well this season and they beat the Washington Commanders yesterday for another trip to the Super Bowl. Mr. FixIt was bowling so I was sitting here yelling at the TV all by myself. The, I had to watch the Chiefs v Bills to see who the Eagles will go up against the Chiefs on February 9th. It’s going to be a fun game! That being said, I spent all my writing energy yelling at football players so I’m sending a replay to you this morning. It’s a piece I wrote in January 2017 about turning the corner in my grief journey and was opening my heart again to the possibility of love.

Fifty-two years ago I married my first husband. I was so young…just 19. But, we were sure we knew what we were doing. I don’t regret that marriage. I learned so much and I got Daughter #1. Priceless!
