I’d like to take a moment and thank all the good dads out there. I have many dads in my life. While my own dad and I didn’t have a great relationship, I can appreciate that he did the best he knew how to do. I thank him for helping bring me into the world.

Hubby #1 gave me my first beautiful baby girl. He’s a good dad to three great kids. Hubby #2 gave me my second beautiful baby girl. He’s a good dad to four great kids. Mr. Virgo was a good step-father to my kids. My fathers-in-law were great dads to me. John D. is my “other” dad. My son-in-law learned from his own great dad how to do it right.

Strawberry Days was lower key for me this time. It was way too hot and I think I have a mild case of altitude sickness so that has put a little damper on things. I was supposed to go visit friends today for a couple of days but they live even higher than here and I still don’t feel my best. So I’m just going to stay put.
