Wow, it is amazing how quickly the river has risen above flood stage. And it’s powerful. I never saw this river as having much of a current but the chunks of ice are flying by. Along with trees, boats, docks, storage sheds, and all manner of things! I have a healthy respect for raging flood waters. Not to worry, there is zero chance of me being swept away. I’m way up above the flood plain.
Our challenge du jour is more snow. I make fun of WV shutting down with a skiff of snow but I have to say, I’d rather drive in 2 feet of Colorado snow and leave 2 inches of WV snow alone. There were nonstop wrecks all night last night but I’m looking forward to seeing the snow this morning.
A friend and I worked on her bathroom again yesterday. We carried the vanity and medicine chest upstairs. We measured and got everything ready to attach them to the wall. We’re going to have to take a break for a day or so with this snow.
I’ll be writing today. If you are experiencing bad weather, please be safe. If you are experiencing really great weather, please refrain from flaunting that fact! lol

“This is what the Lord says: “See how the waters are rising in the north; they will become an overflowing torrent. They will overflow the land and everything in it, the towns and those who live in them. The people will cry out; all who dwell in the land will wail”
Jeremiah 47:2
