We can make things so complicated sometimes. Yesterday I spent about five hours in a local restaurant with abysmally slow Wi-Fi trying to upload the video of my discussion on the Prayer of Jabez. From now on I’m just going to record them live. I never did get that video to upload. I’ll have to wait for a time when I’m in high speed Wi-Fi. I wasn’t happy as I struggled with the connection over and over. I forgot this simple chart because I had my nose to the grindstone.
What changed my course? Something as simple as the waitress coming and gently interrupting with an apology and asked if I’d like to order dinner. I felt I had just had lunch but when I looked at the clock, I realized five hours had passed and I hadn’t accomplished a thing but listening to political commentary in the background to the point I was ready to chew my own arm off. I thanked her kindly, smiled, paid an extraordinarily large tip, and packed up. If it’s not working, do something different. Hopefully long before self-cannibalism becomes a viable option! Tomorrow is another day!
