Yesterday was a cold and rainy day. When I say cold, it was predicted to get down to 37 degrees. That’s getting too cold for me! If my house would have closed with the original contract, I would have been in WV and settled by now. But everything happens for a reason. The second contract was better, smoother, and with wonderful people. My neighbors feel like they’ve won the lottery! And, I think they have!
I was hoping the part that is needed for the trailer could be shipped overnight. Apparently it couldn’t…at least not this night. I will have to say, the people at the dealership where I bought this trailer have been on the phone several times today, trying to get this fixed. Hopefully they will get the part in Wednesday and I can be on my way. Remember what I said about everything happening for a reason? With this colder weather here today, there is snow in the high country and I might have been trying to drive through it today or tomorrow. The weather is supposed to warm up by Wednesday and Thursday. Much better for traveling.
So, this is what I’m taking away from the situation. I’m supposed to take advantage of the next couple of days and rest, write, read, sleep, fiddle with where I want things in the trailer and organize it even better, try out the oven, cook on the stovetop, go into town and get a massage, visit with more friends, and….did I say rest? Ah, yes…this is not an inconvenience…this is a gift!
