I’ll never forget the day my son-in-law and I built my website. It was during a Christmas trip to Colorado…2016, to be precise. At the end of the day, I was gathering up my things to go back over to his mom’s house when I told him I still needed to write my post for the day. Somehow, my method of typing and entering my post came up and he could not believe I wrote every post on my phone.
On. My. Phone.
Typing with two thumbs on a screen keyboard is tedious and time consuming. He told me about Bluetooth keyboards that connect to iPads and my world opened up!
I came out to the farm for a little R&R yesterday and realized I left my iPad at home. So, here I am, typing with two thumbs again. Oy!
It was 82° when I got to the farm! OMGosh! It was beautiful. I sat on the front porch and knitted. I listened to the birds. I fixed a little something to eat and wandered around, checking out Grandma’s posies. The grass isn’t ready to mow just yet but it won’t be long.
Here is a post I wrote in 2014. I had been on a bit of a sabbatical here at the farm. I had made the decision to move here, and at the time, I was planning to buy the place. I would have, too. But things went south with my aunt between October and Christmas. It wouldn’t have worked well if I owned the farm while she was living here. Too much of a power struggle, and God made sure things worked out just as He wanted them.
