I finished the rough draft! If you count my blog posts, I’ve written somewhere over 75,000 words in the month of February alone! Hokey Smokes!

I spoke to my publicist friend and she advises I step away from it for a while so when I go back and read it, I can be discerning and find any spots where the story weighs heavy. When I’ve tried this before, I get so sick of reading it over and over that I’m convinced everyone else who reads it will think the same thing. 

I’ve lost three friends in three weeks. And another friend lost her mom yesterday. This is one of the bad things about aging. We lose people. My son-in-law’s mom said, the year before she moved her mother to the Denver metro area, she was going to funerals every week. It’s not only a hazard of aging, but also of small town living. I don’t know that I would change living in a small town though. I love it. 

OMGosh! My oldest granddaughter got her learner’s permit! It was just yesterday I was teaching her mom and BFF how to drive. While I was 8 months pregnant! That was a hoot!

My brain is so scrambled from writing. You may not get anything of real substance from me for a week or so! ❤️
