There is a fine line between having a fire within…and running around like your hair’s on fire. A lot of times, the difference between the two is nothing more than attitude, perception, decision. I’ve been so super busy for over a year. Ever since my dear friend Janine chided me and told me to put my knitting down and write my book last February, I haven’t stopped running.
I’m hoping my travel schedule isn’t quite so intense this year. I was gone for a total of four months last year. Not only is that too much to do, it’s expensive, and it keeps me from getting things done around here. Things that NEED doing.
Mr. FixIt is making great headway on the new bathroom now. He’s patching drywall and putting in new light switches. He’s doing an excellent job and I am terribly impatient. I’m an instant gratification kinda gal. He is a hardworking perfectionist. We’re learning.
Yesterday was SO much fun! I took the camper to Huntington and they interviewed me for a segment on their “First Look at Four” show. They filmed me cooking a meal in an RV kitchen. There will be a link I can share and you can watch the segment…hopefully tomorrow.
Nothing deep and meaningful today. Just enjoying living in the moment…soaking it all in. It feels good to be in my skin. There were many, many years when I could not make that statement.
Happy Thursday!
