Yesterday was a day of chores. Our laundry was piled up so I was playing catchup so we don’t have a ton of work to get ready to leave Wednesday. The guys went to Forney Museum yesterday and saw the antique cars and trains and had a big time. They went to McCoy’s Family Restaurant at Federal and I-70 for a late lunch. Mr. FixIt told me he hated to let me know how wonderful the Liver & Onions were. 

Ben’s niece came for an overnight visit so we’ve been visiting. I wore Little out on Friday so I didn’t hear anything from them yesterday. Maybe today. Daughter #2 is hopefully coming over today for our last visit before we leave. We had such a wonderful visit and we’ve got six days of travel a head of us once we hit the road.

I’ve kinda hit a wall with vacation. I’m going to love on my CO peeps here for the next couple of days then I’m ready to head home. I’m partied out! Mr. FixIt would be perfectly happy to keep going. He doesn’t understand homesickness. You’re home all the time…why would you want to go there when you could be someplace else having fun?

I think I’ll get home and sleep for a week!
