I’ve torn this house apart looking for those hard drives. Well, not completely. I still have a couple other places to look but I’m just baffled where they could be. Don’t you hate it when you put something in that “special safe place” and you don’t have a clue where it is? Drives me nutso.
We didn’t really do much of anything yesterday. I still haven’t been able to find my tax returns online and my old laptop that I’ve used for taxes before won’t even start up. Sometimes when you’ve worked for a few hours on something without making progress, you need to set it aside for a while and regroup. I can get back to it today.
We had the other half of the pizza last night that I made Wednesday. Mr. FixIt kindly mentioned that “we’ve had pizza a lot lately.” Which translated to “I love your pizza, but maybe we don’t need to have it every week.” Isn’t he a sweetheart? lol I told him I’d make pepperoni rolls with the extra dough next time. He loves pepperoni rolls. They are West Virginia’s State Food!
I got to see Daughter #2 on FaceTime yesterday…twice! She looks a lot better. Her dad brought them food from the deli down the street. She had a Reuben Sandwich and her wife got Challah French Toast. Since he’s on anti rejection drugs from his transplants, he has to stay away from people who are sick. Bless their hearts…the stood on either side of the glass storm door and spoke to each other on their cell phones. Very resourceful. I’m so glad their appetites are improving. I may not be officially Jewish anymore, but I’ll always be a “Jewish Mother” and worry about my little “sheyne punim.” No matter how old they get, they’re still your babies…right?
